Tank wash
Leader in tank cleaning and industrial cleaning onshore and offshore
With extensive experience from the oil and energy sector, we are a leading player in tank cleaning and industrial cleaning both onshore and offshore. Health, safety and the environment (HSE) are fundamental to our corporate culture, and we work continuously to improve and optimise working methods to ensure safe and efficient completion of all assignments.
All services are carried out in accordance with applicable regulations and the strictest industry standards, with a focus on quality and reliability.
Niro Gruppen Industri has extensive experience in cleaning all types of tanks, both on- and offshore. We offer a wide range of services, from cleaning slop and fuel tanks to dry bulk and potable water tanks. This often includes removing accumulated harmful substances, such as oil, petrol, chemicals and other contaminants.
UHP flushing is a technique for cleaning surfaces with high-pressure water. This pressure can be up to 4000 bar and provides a powerful and effective cleaning of surfaces. With the ultra-high pressure, we can flush steel and aluminium flat, and remove or chisel concrete with the powerful water jet.
Safe handling when opening and closing tanks is essential to protect personnel, the environment and equipment. This is especially true in connection with inspection, maintenance and cleaning, where the risk of exposure to hazardous gases, chemical residues or pressure build-up can be high.
Degassing and venting are essential measures to ensure a safe working environment when working in or around tanks. The purpose is to remove hazardous gases, vapours and explosive atmospheres before inspection, cleaning or maintenance.
Working in hazardous atmospheres requires a high level of expertise, the right equipment and strict safety measures. This is especially true in the presence of toxic, flammable or oxygen-reduced gases.
We build scaffolding for our own assignments, ensuring safe and functional solutions that provide safe access when working at height. Our scaffolders follow current regulations and safety requirements to ensure both efficiency and safety in the workplace.
The NIRO Group provides experienced and certified rescue teams for assignments where there is a need for emergency preparedness when working in confined spaces, at heights or other risky environments.
